Former “hobby” Gin becomes serious business!

In winter 2014 Rene Strothmann and Michael Sander started producing their own Gin O49. The first batch was quickly sold out and a new business was born. Almost 10,000 bottles have been dispatched since the product launch – and not only in Osnabrück and nearby, but in all areas around Germany and already in some other countries.

Remarkably … beside top restaurants and bars, more and more customers from the core business of SanderStrothmann have tried this organic spirit. It happens sometimes that important meetings are initiated with the object of the new gin-order.

For Strothmann and Sander still a wonderful sidekick – and proudly they still sign each bottle by hand. Just real, honest manual work!
In October Rene Strothmann will make his first spirit exhibition experience, joining the BCB in Berlin – the most important Bar show in Europe.

Meanwhile O49 is available in a small 49ml version – as they call it the “Mini-Bar”-bottle!
